Team USA Athlete Jacob Plihal Training
Jacob Plihal is set to take on the big stage after steadily climbing the ranks as a single sculler. He joins 3 other Green Racing Project qualifiers, along with 2 alternates on their way to compete this summer. Based out of Craftsbury, Vermont the GRP team mixes summer and winter athletes in training and preparing for their elite competitions.

So what is the correct amount of tension on the shock cord Concept? 2 pounds? 10 pounds?
Hello, the shock cord should effectively retract the chain without causing a noticeable pull-back force in the handle. The tension is roughly 3 lbs at handle and 6 lbs at end of monorail.

Same issue - put 2 new batteries in and it worked ! There was a warning about logbook not functioning due to low battery power. That was a hint. Fresh batteries and you stand a better chance.

Is there any risk of the flywheel no longer being balanced after replacing these parts?
Should not be any issue, the flywheel is pretty straightforward to take off and put back on.

I saw these at my new gym today. Now I know what to do with it 😂
The Wall mount is highly flawed. It’s very common to get vibrations due to nothing holding it where the floorstand connects (just below the monitor) I bolted a metal plate to those holes and fastened to the wall thorugh a wooden distance piece, voila - zero vibrations!
For some reason I thought this would be way more complicated and I've been avoiding it. I love this company for making everything so easy and having a video to idiot proof my process 😊

A regular glass cleaner, or anything you'd use on windows/general surfaces.

Hello, it is included! It was not included before we introduced it a few years back, so now we have retrofit kits for machines made in 1996 or later.

Hello, there is not a Dynamic specific device holder.
I'd like to see an virtual world on the water, or ski circuit or bike loop, depending on what machine I'm using.
There is an app called EXR Virtual Rower that does what you're describing. Would be cool to see a Concept2 Version though.

How big of a deal is stopping at a vertical shin?
People will have a wide variety of mobility, which will put them a bit on either side of that, so going a little past is not a huge deal.

I throw a slam ball onto the floor. You can also attach a resistance band to the top of a door frame.

We don’t have bigger screens but you can use a tablet in the device holder when connected to apps.

How often do I need to replace the wheels under the seat of my concept d-2?
There isn’t a set duration, the short answer is as needed. If they feel okay they don’t need to be replaced. Feel free to email us info@concept2.com with any other repair questions.
My model B still going strong after all these years! I'm guessing the woman in the video is also a water rower. You can never lose that strike-down on the recovery :-)
